Carmel, la luchadora de Edimburgo, Escocia, ha tenido un magnifico año, acabando el mismo con unos dos últimos mese donde se ha proclamado campeona de la empresa alemana GSW y de la escocesa W3L. Además de estos títulos, Carmel ha sido una luchadora habitual de Pro Wrestling Eve y de otras empresas británicas como PCW, PWE o BCW. Carmel también participó en el show de debut de ICW Fierce Females donde derrotó a Kay Lee Ray en un combate Last Woman Standing. En Pro Wrestling Eve, Carmel lucho en el torneo «Queen of the Ring» donde perdió en cuartos de final ante Kay Lee Ray, en el mismo show Carmel junto a Sara, The Glamour Gym, vencieron a The Blossom Twins. En noviembre, Carmel se enfrentó a Angelina Love en el show Wrestlefever pero acabó perdiendo por DQ tras la intervención de su compañera Sara, esto llevó a un combate por pareja entre The Glamour Gym contra Erin Angel & Angelina Love que acabarían ganando las escocesas. Además de enfrentarse a Angelina Love, Carmel tuvo la suerte de enfrentarse a Mickie James en el show de PWE «History is Born» del 16 de septiembre. En W3L, tuvo una rivalidad con Sara y con Nikki Storm que acabó con una triple amenaza en noviembre con el título en juego, combate que ganaria Carmel para alzarse con el cinturón.
