Top 100 Indies Females 2012: 1- Sara del Rey

1- sara del reySara del Rey, la luchadora de Brooklyn se ha convertido sin ningún lugar a dudas en la mejor luchadora de este 2012, además para acabar de rematar su magnifico año, Sara ha sido contratada por WWE, aunque solo sea como entrenadora de las luchadoras de NXT y nos quedemos con las ganas de volverla a ver luchar en un ring. La luchadora a pesar de estar solo 8 meses en activo en este año ha demostrado con creces lo magnifica luchadora que es en enfrentamientos intergender contra los luchadores de Chikara como ante El Generico a quien ganó, o ante Eddie Kingston ante quien tuvo la posibilidad de disputar el Grand Championship pero cayó en el intento. En la lucha femenina 100%, Sara del Rey fue finalista del torneo Grand Prix de 2CW tras vencer en primera ronda a  Allysin Kay, en semifinales a Mercedes Martinez y en la gran final perdió ante Rachel Summerlyn. En Shimmer, Sara del Rey se hizo con los títulos de parejas junto a Courtney Rush, en el volumen 48 en un four way match, anteriormente en luchas individuales había derrotado a Leva Bates y a León y ya haciendo pareja con Courtney Rush derrotaron a Regeneration X. Este título lo perderían ambas en el show número nueve de NCW: Femmes Fatales donde caerían derrotadas ante The Canadian Ninjas. En el mismo show de NCW, Sara tuvo la oportunidad de hacerse con el título individual de la empresa pero cayó derrotada ante Kalamity. En Shine, Sara del Rey llegó a debutar en su primer evento cayendo derrotada ante Jazz. Durante la evaluación Sara del Rey también se proclamó campeona femenina de la empresa Remix Pro al derrotar a Sojournor Bolt por el título en abril y perderlo en agosto ante Sassy Stephie. Sara del Rey también hizo un par de apariciones en ROH, en la primera se enfrentó a Mia Yim a la que derrotó y en la segundo formó parte de un combate mixto donde ella y Eddie Edwards derrotaron a Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis.

2- Mercedes-MartinezMercedes Martinez, ha bajado del primer puesto por primera vez en este top 100 después de dos años como campeona indiscutible. La luchadora de Conecticut ha tenido un 2012 genial, siendo durante este periodo campeona de WSU en dos ocasiones, y acabando el paso de face a heel en las empresas como Shimmer, Shine o NCW Femmes Fatales. En WSU, Mercedes Martines perdió el titulo tras 1092 días como campeona absoluta a manos de Jessicka Havok en el show de 5º aniversario. Para sorpresa de todos Mercedes recuperaría el título en la primera revancha que tuvo ante Jessicka Havok, pero el cinturón apenas le duraría unas horas ya que en el mismo show, en un combate triple amenaza, Jessicka recuperaría el título al vencer a Mercedes & Brittney Savage. En su última oportunidad por el título en «Uncensored Rumble V» Jessicka derrotó a Mercedes con la ayuda de Lufisto, con la que empezaria una nueva rivalidad que le llevaría a empatar por límite de tiempo de 30 minutos en el show «Full Steam Ahead». En NCW Femmes Fatales, Mercedes tuvo la oportunidad de hacerse con el título en el octavo evento pero perdió ante la campeona Kalamity. En el noveno show se las vió con Lufisto en un combate que acabó por doble Count Out, esto les llevó a un enfrentamiento en jaula para el show diez donde Mercedes derrotó a Lufisto. En Shimmer en su papel de heel, Mercedes siguió su feudo con Athena, con victoria para esta última y se enfrentó a Kana & Hailey Hatred en los shows 46 y 47 con victoria para la latina. En los shows de octubre Mercedes derrotaría a MsChif & Shazza McKenzie y caería ante Courtney Rush. Mercedes también es una habitual de los shows de Shine, y en su vertiente heel ha derrotado a Leva Bates & Santana, y se ha alineado con el grupo de heel encabezado por Rain.

3- cheerleader melissaCheerleader Melissa, la luchadora de Los Angeles, ha tenido un año 2012 genial, empezando el mismo como campeona de Shimmer a pesar de que lo perdió en el volumen 48 ante Saraya Knight y ha dado muestras de su clase luchistica en cada uno de los shows en los que ha participado incluyendo NCW: Femmes Fatales donde se ha consolidado como una de las luchadoras habituales de la empresa. En Shimmer empezó el año como campeona y en los eventos de marzo retuvo el título en le volumen 45 ante Nicole Matthews, en el volumen 46 volvería a retener el cinturón ante Portia Perez y en el volumen 47 la derrotada fue Jessie McKay. En el volumen 48, la luchadora se enfrentaría a Saraya Knight que para la sorpresa de todos ganaría el título despues de lastimar una rodilla de Melissa. En los shows de octubre, Melissa regresó con ganas de alzarse con el título de nuevo y derrotaría en el volumen 49 a Rhia O´Reilly y en el 51 a Miss Natural. En el volumen 50 formaría parte del equipo ganador de las Shimvivor Series junto a LuFisto, MsChif & Regeneration X ante The Canadian Ninjas, Lexie Fyfe, Mercedes Martinez & Saraya Knight. En el volumen 52 tendría otra oportunidad por el título pero de nuevo caería derrotada a manos de Saraya Knight. 4- jessicka havokJessicka Havok, la luchadora de Ohio, ha sido considerada por muchos como la mejor heel del año, y es un hecho que tengo que remarcar, a pesar de que Saraya Knight haya sido campeona de Shimmer, siendo heel, debo decir que el estilo de heel de Jessicka Havok me gusta mas que el estilo hooligan de Knight. Además Havok consiguió acabar con el reinado de mas de tres años de Mercedes Martinez como campeona de WSU, y fue campeona en la empresa del título absoluto y Spirit al mismo tiempo durante un par de meses. Jessicka Havok acabó con el reinado de Martinez en el show del quinto aniversario de la empresa, para sorpresa de todos Havok perdería el título de nuevo ante Martinez en el show de la copa J-Cup, pero un mes después de nuevo Havok recuperaría el título en Uncensored Rumble V en un casket match, ese mismo día Havok perdería el título Spirit ante Marti Belle. Havok defendería con éxito el título en el show «Full Steam Ahead» al vencer en una triple amenaza a Alicia & Lexxus. Además de en WSU, Havok ha participado en shows de Shine, donde ha tenido una rivalidad fuerte con Reby Sky, y ha derrotado en otros shows a Mia Yim y a Leva Bates e incluso acabó un combate en doble Count Out ante Nikki Roxx en Shine 5. Jessicka Havok también participó en la cuarta edición del torneo «Queen of  Queens» de ACW donde llegó a la final para perder ante Athena, en primera ronda derrotó a Lady Poison y en semifinales vencería a Rachel Summerlyn en un magnífico combate.

5- saraya knightSaraya Knight, la luchadora inglesa ha sido una de las wrestlers mas destacadas de este 2012, convirtiéndose en la primera luchadora europea en conseguir el título absoluto de Shimmer tras conseguir derrotar a Cheerleader Melissa en el volumen 48 de la empresa, el pasado mes de marzo. Además la luchadora este año, ha sido campeona del título de HEW aunque este título lo perdería en septiembre del 2012 tras 308 días con el título en su poder. Este año Saraya Knight empezó en Shimmer enfrentándose a Davina Rose a quien derrotaría en el volumen 45, y posteriormente buscando su opción al título de Cheerleader Melissa, perdió dos combates ante Veda Scott & Shazza McKenzie abusando de las malas artes. Finalmente en el volumen 48 Saraya Knight conseguiría esa oportunidad por el título de Shimmer y sorprendiendo a todos se alzó con el cinturón tras ganar a Melissa tras hacerla rendir después de atacarle su rodilla lastimada. En las grabaciones de octubre de la empresa, Saraya Knight defendió con éxito el campeonato en tres ocasiones, la primera en el volumen 49 donde venció a Athena, en el 51 lo retendría en un fatal four way ante Hiroyo Matsumoto, Kellie Skater & MsChif y en el volumen 52 derrotaría de nuevo a Cheerleader Melissa. 6- portia perezPortia Perez, la luchadora de Ottawa, Ontario, Canadá, se ha convertido en una de las mejores luchadoras independientes de la escena mundial, cada año que pasa Portia se convierte es mas temible sobre un ring y en una luchadora mas completa y sobretodo mejor de cara al espectáculo, dando el tipo en todas y cada una de sus apariciones dentro de su rol de heel. Portia ha participado en los ocho eventos de Shimmer del año, en los tres shows y 4 eventos de NCW Femmes Fatales, ha debutado en Shine y ha sido habitual de los shows de ACW y 2CW. En Shimmer empezó el año luchando en individual derrotando a Chrstina Von Eerie y perdiendo un combate por el título ante Cheerleader Melissa en el show 45 y 46 respectivamente de la empresa. En el show 47 se reunió con Nicole Matthews para derrotar a Mia Yim & Davina Rose y en el 48 lucharía en un fatl four way por el título. 7- nicole matthewsNicole Matthews, la luchadora de British Columbia, Canadá, se ha convertido en una de las principales luchadoras canadienses de los ultimos años, junto a Portia Perez ha formado una pareja terrible en la escena independiente conocidas como The Canadian Ninjas y que este año se hicieron con los títulos de parejas de Shimmer, además en la empresa ECCW, Nicole Matthes también es campeona por parejas formando parte del grupo The Riot. En Shimmer, Nicole Matthews participó en los ocho eventos que la empresa celebró este año, en los primeros cuatro de marzo, Nicole empezó luchando en el volumen 45 en un combate por el título de la empresa pero Cheerleader Melissa retuvo el mismo, en el volumen 46, Nicole Matthews venció a Athena. 8- jessie mckayJessie McKay, la luchadora de Sidney, Australia, sigue dando año tras año un nivel mas que óptimo de wrestling en todos los eventos y combates en los que participa. Este año Jessie McKay se dedicó mas tiempo que nunca a luchar en su Australia natal, saltandose sorpresivamente lo eventos de Shimmer en el mes de octubre. Este año además Jessie debutó en Canadá en la empresa NCW Femmes Fatales donde en su evento número 8 derrotó a Angie Skye. En Shimmer la luchadora participó en 3 de los 4 eventos del pasado mes de marzo en el primero de ellos, el volumen 45, Jessie McKay venció a Mia Yim, en el 46 la derrotada sería MsChif y ya definitivamente en el volumen 47 tuvo la oportunidad de luchar por el título de la empresa pero perdería ante la campeona entonces Cheerleader Melissa. En Australia participó en el torneo para escoger a la campeona interina de PWWA, en cuartos de final Jessie McKay venció a Harley Wonderland tras golpearla con la Yakuza Kick. En semifinales Jessie McKay ganaría  a Shazza McKenzie tras aplicarle el octopus Strecht y solamente en la final, la australiana perdería a manos de Evie. Posteriormente Jessie Mckay participaría en el show de PWWA «Evie vs Skater 3» donde la luchadora derrotaría a la neozelandesa Britenay. Tras estos shows en PWWA Jessie McKay haría pareja con Charlie Simone para perder ante Shazza McKenzie & Eliza Sway en un combate por los títulos por parejas de PWWA. 9- LuFistoLufisto, la luchadora de Quebec, ha tenido un año magnifico siendo reconocida en todas las grandes empresas del mundo independiente de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Lufisto luchó en NCW Femmes Fatales en Canada en los tres eventos del año. En el evento número 8 venció a Jazz en un combate muy bueno y donde no había descalificación, en el noveno evento Lufisto disputó un encuentro importante ante Mercedes Martinez que acabaría en Doble Count Out, ya en el décimo show de la empresa, Lufisto derrotaría a Hiroyo Matsumoto en la primera parte del show pero perdería en un combate Steel Cage ante Mercedes Martínez en la segunda parte del mismo. Lufisto también lucho en WSU, donde debutó en junio en Uncensored Rumble V derrotando a Leva Bates y donde jugaría un papel principal en el main event al salir de un ataud y costarle el combate por el título a Mercedes Martínez. Esto les llevaría a enfrentarse en el show de WSU «Full Steam Ahead» donde Lufisto y Mercedes Martinez empatarían tras acabarse el tiempo límite de 30 minutos. Para acabar recordaremos el paso de Lufisto por Shimmer en este 2012. En este año Lufisto ha luchado en los ocho eventos de la empresa, en algunas ocasiones acompañada de Kana. En los show de marzo, Lufisto de manera individual venció a Nikki en el volumen 46 y perdió ante Leon en el 48, y en pareja junto a Kana, perderían ante Hailey Hatred & Kalamity en el volumen 45 y ganarían a Christina Von Eerie & MsChif en el 48. En los shows de octubre, Lufisto formaría parte de las Shimvivor Series de la empresa en el volumen 50 siendo parte del equipo ganador, ganaría en una lucha individual a Ryo Mizunami en el vollumen 51 y haciendo equipo con Kana, vencerían a Made in Sin en el volumen 52, pero perderían un combate por el título ante The Canadian Ninjas en el volumen 49.

10- jazzJazz, la luchadora de New Orleans, ha tenido un año brillante, sobretodo en la segunda parte del mismo donde la ex-luchadora de WWE y ECW ha recuperado el nivel de lucha en las empresas independientes que demostro en su día en las grandes empresas. Jazz ha destacado principalmente en la empresa de nueva creación Shine, donde la luchadora se ha convertido es una de las estandartes de la empresa luchando en los 5 shows de la empresa. En el primer show, Jazz se enfrentó a Sara del Rey para conseguir derrotarla, en el segundo show Jazz se enfrentaría a otra de las grandes luchadoras independientes, Mercedes Martinez en un combate que acabaría en No Contest. En el tercer show volvería a la senda de la victoria derrotando a Rain. Su única derrota hasta el momento en Shine, fue en su cuarto evento cuando Jazz tuvo la oportunidad de disputar un combate por el título de Shimmer, pero la campeona Saraya Knight retuvo el título. Ya finalmente en el quinto show, Jazz hizo equipo con Amazing Kong para derrotar a la pareja formada por Rain & Mercedes Martinez. Además Jazz también ha luchado en empresas como NCW Femmes Fatales donde en su evento número ocho consiguió derrotar a LuFisto en un combate sin descalificación. También fue una de las luchadoras del cuarto torneo «Queen of Queens» de ACW y en el que después de un magnífico combate perdería en cuartos de final ante Rachel Summerlyn. Por último decir que Jazz también fue una de las luchadoras que participaría en el primer show de House of Hardcore y donde derrotaría a Winter.
