Courtney Rush empezó el año con un viaje a Japón donde estuvo luchando para Reina. En Estados Unidos destacaron sus participaciones en Shimmer apareciendo en los 8 eventos de la empresa, en los primeros 4 del mes de marzo, Courtney ganó sus dos combates individuales ante Rhia O´Reilly & Sassy Stephie, en el volumen 47 ganaría junto a Sara del Rey a Regeneration X y en el volumen 48 ganarían el combate fatal four way tag team por el título de parejas de Shimmer, título que les duraría hasta julio cuando perderían ante Canadian Ninjas en el noveno show de NCW Femmes Fatales. En los últimos 4 shows de Shimmer del año, hay que destacar su victoria sobre Mercedes Martínez en el volumen 51, también ganaría a Taylor Made en el 50 y perdería en sus dos encuentros con luchadoras japonesas, Ryo Mizunami en el volumen 49 y Hiroyo Matsumoto en el 52. Contra Mizumani conseguiría vengarse al derrotarla en la segunda parte del X show de Femmes Fatales, en la primera parte del mismo show, Courtney venció a Portia Pérez.
