Barbi Hayden, la luchadora de Texas, cada año que pasa se convierte en mas importante dentro de la escena independiente femenina, este año no en vano ha sido campeona de tres empresas distintas, la primera ACW donde fue campeona Joshi desde julio del 2012 hasta final de año, de la NWA Texoma Women´s Championship donde ganó el título el pasado 21 de diciembre y la NWA Lone Star Women´s Championship, título del cual es campeona desde septiembre del 2012. En ACW empezó el año perdiendo ante Lady Poison y teniendo una primera oportunidad por el título en abril pero cayendo derrotada ante Angel Blue. En su segunda oportunidad en julio, se haría con el cinturón tras ganar el una cuádruple amenaza a Angel Blue, Athena & Portia Perez. Tras conseguir el título, lo defendió con éxito derrotando a Jessica James en su primera rivalidad, y sumó a sus defensas su triunfo ante Portia Pérez para acabar el año. En NWA Texoma, tuvo la oportunidad de conseguir el título en septiembre en una triple amenaza ante Kyra Maya, que sería la ganadora y Starr Venus. Posteriormente y con el título vacante, Barbi Hayden ganaría a Bree Ann en diciembre para proclamarse campeona de la empresa. En su camino por el título Lone Star en Houston, Barbi tuvo una gran rivalidad con Jen Alise, la anterior campeona con la que tuvo dos combates por el título en los que no pudo salir vencedora, pero en septiembre y con el título en poder de Rachel Summerlyn, Barbi fue capaz de derrotarla para proclamarse campeona, tras esta victoria Barbi defendió con éxito su campeonato ante Bree Ann en el pasado mes de octubre.
