Marti Belle, la luchadora de New York, ha tenido muy buen año en este 2012, ya que se ha consolidado como campeona del cinturón Spirit en WSu, además de haber debutado en empresas como Shine, y ha empezado a tener su propia storyline en Evolve. Marti Belle empezó el año en WSU con una gran rivalidad ante su ex-compañera Tina San Antonio, con la cual se vió las caras en dos ocasiones de manera individual en la primera, la acabó venciendo en el show del quinto aniversario pero en la J-Cup, Tina San Antonio la venció en un uncensored match. Tras esto Marti Belle se las tuvo con Jessicka Havok con quien perdió en el mes de abril en el show Yolo, pero Marti Belle daría la sorpresa en «Uncensored Rumble V» cuando derrotó a Havok para proclamarse nueva campeona Spirit, tras esta victoria Marti Belle defendió con éxito el cinturón en «Full Steam Ahead» ante Nikki Adams. Además de en WSU, Marti también tuvo una gran rivalidad con la propia Nikky Adams por el título Starlet de NYWC, donde se enfrentaron en varias ocasionas con la suerte del lado de Nikki. Marti Belle formó parte del torneo para encontrar a la primera campeona de BLOW, la empresa femenina de PWS.  Marti consiguió pasar la primera ronda tras derrotar a Nikki Adams, pero caería en cuartos de final ante Missy Sampson. Además Marti Belle también debutó en la empresa Shine, en su quinto evento perdiendo ante Niya, y lucharía en la empresa de Florida, FUW, derrotando a Leva Bates. Por último decir que Marti tuvo una lucha con Christina Von Eerie en Evolve 17 y posteriormente un handicap match ante Larry Dallas & Papadon en Evolve 18.
