Su Yung, la luchadora de Seattle, ha tenido un año muy bueno a nivel de lucha ya que ha mejorado muchísimo en su hacer en el ring y al parecer salir de WWE le hizo mas bien que mal en este año y medio que lleva en el mundo independiente. Su Yung se ha convertido en una luchadora habitual de Shine, también ha aparecido en eventos de Shimmer y en funciones de ACW. A principios de año, Su Yung participó en los eventos de TCW donde se enfrentó a luchadoras como la veterana Malia Hosaka y dio al sorpresa en ACW al ganar a Rachel Summerlyn hecho que le valió para aspirar al título femenino de la empresa pero no podría derrotar a Angel Blue. Tambiñen participaría en el torneo Queen of Queens 2012 donde caería en primera ronda ante Athena. En Shine ha luchado en los 5 shows disputados en este 2012, en el primer y en el tercer show formo pareja con Tracy Taylor con un computo general de una victoria ante Gabby Gilbert & Luscious Latasha y una derrota ante Made in Sin (Taylor Made & Allisyn Kay). En sus luchas individuales Su Yung cuenta por victorias sus apariciones al derrotar en el segundo show a Kimberly, en el 4 a Rhia O´Reilly y en el quinto a Sojournor Bolt. Su Yung también estuvo presente en los eventos de Shimmer de octubre participando en dos volúmenes, en el 50 y el 52 donde caería derrotada en ambos combates ante Sassy Stephie & Miss Natural respectivamente.
