NY Nikki, la luchadora de Brooklyn, pero afincada en California, ha tenido un año 2012 destacado, hecho que le ha permitido estar en los eventos de Shimmer del mes de marzo y ademas le ha permitido luchar en algunas ocasiones en Mexico en este año. Nikki ha sido durante la mayor parte del año la campeona femenina de la empresa Millenium Pro Wrestling (MPW) hasta que perdiera este titulo en agosto de 2012 ante Hector Canales, anteriormente habia defendido el titulo con acierto ante Thunder Kitty y el tambien luchador masculino Lucky Pierre. Tras perder el titulo Nikki junto a Morgan & Thunderkitty entraron en una rivalidad ante Hector Canales, Ferd Owens & Hed por recuperar el cinturon, hecho que no consiguieron. Tambien en California, NY Nikki se enfrento a Davina Rose en un combate para la empresa Vendetta Pro Wrestling que acabo con victoria para Rose. Como hemos mencionado antes la aparicion mas importante dentro de la escena independiente de Nikki fue su participacion en los shows de Shimmer de marzo, donde lucho en dos eventos cayendo derrotada en ambos, en el volumen 46 perderia ante Lufisto y en el volumen 48 perderia ante KC Spinelli. Por ultimo señalar que la luchadora tambien estuvo de tour por Mexico a finales de año participando en dos eventos el primero en Ciudad del Carmen donde haria pareja con Hudson Envy para enfrentar a Cheerleader Melissa & Tab Jackson y el segundo en Merida, Yucatan donde participaria en una triple amenaza ante Tab Jackson y la propia Cheerleader Melissa que acabaria siendo ganada por la propia Melissa.
