Scorpio Sky, el luchador de Los Angeles, California, ha encontrado en este año su consolidación como luchador aéreo independiente gracias a aparecer luchando principalmente en Destination X para TNA y apareciendo mas tarde en WWE como el doctor Harold. Además de todas estas apariciones Scorpio Sky ha destacado en este año 2012 por ser el luchador que se enfrentó y derrotó a Joey Ryan en el último combate de este en PWG el pasado 1 de diciembre, en la empresa de California también participo junto a Ryan en el torneo DDT4  cayendo eliminados en primera ronda al perder ante Future Shock (Kyle O´Reilly & Adam Cole). En California, Scorpio Sky también ha sido un elemento importante de la empresa CWFH (Championship Wrestling from Hollywood) donde fue campeón del tçitulo NWA International por 378 días desde julio del año 2011 a julio de 2012 y en el año presente ha defendido el título ante rivales como Famous B, Ryan Taylor o Nick Madrid e incluso había derrotado anteriormente a Willie Mack que sería con quien perdería el título el pasado 22 de julio. Tras esta derrota Scorpio Sky ganó un four way elimination match ante Johnny Yuma, Peter Avalon y Ray Rosas para ser el number one contender al título que había perdido, pero en este combate de escaleras contra Willie Mack, fue este último el que consiguió la victoria.
