Tony Nese el luchador de Nueva York, ha vuelto de nuevo al mundo independiente después de una experiencia en TNA y en este 2012 se afianzado como un luchador a tener muy en cuenta en el futuro. Entre sus apariciones mas destacadas hay que comentar las que ha hecho tanto en Evolve como en Dragon Gate USA. En Evolve participó en los shows 14,15 y 16, donde cosechó dos victorias y una derrota, en el volumen 14 derrotó en un fatal four way a Alex Reynolds, Johnny Gargano & Lince Dorado, en el 15 venció a Mike Cruz y en el 16 cayó derrotado ante Johnny Gargano. En Dragon Gate USA participó en el show Freedom Fight 2012 donde junto a Papadon vencieron a The Scene (Caleb Konley & Scott Reed). También estuvo presente en el primer show de House of Hardcore derrotando a Alex Reynolds. Disputó un combate ante Vader con el que perdió en la empresa NEW. y sus mayores logros han llegado en PWS donde perdió el campeonato de los tres estados tras 618 días como campeón al perder con Star Mar el pasado mes de noviembre, durante este año defendió el campeonato ante el propio Star Man, Alex Reynolds o Matt Hardy. Tony Nese también es el campeón Fusion de la empresa NYWC título que conquistó en agosto y que ha defendido ante Stockade a quien le arrebató el campeonato, Jay Lethal & Chuck Taylor.
