Además Strickland participó en las eliminatorias del Best of the Best 11 donde en el combate Aerial Assualt elimanation se clasificaron Uhaa nation & Samuray del Sol, en el combate además participaron Lucky, Nick Young, Rory Mondo, Ryan McBride & Latin Dragon. Fuera de CZW, Shane Strickland destacó en la última Jeff Peterson cup al ganar en primera ronda a Joey Janela para perder en cuartos de final ante Ar Fox en un magnífico combate. Además en RCW disputó el fatal four way match por el título crucero vacante aunque no pudo conseguir el título que se llevó Robby Mireno, en el combate también lucharon Pat Anthony & Skull.

Out of CZW, Shane Strickland had a good job in the last Jeff Peterson cup to win in the first round to Joey Janela and lose in the quarter-final against Ar Fox in an excellent match. Also in RCW disputed the fatal four way match for the vacant cruiserweight title but couldn’t get the title, finally goint to Robby Mireno, also in that match Pat Anthony & Skull fought.
