Este domingo vamos con el último PPV del año. Una nueva entrega de TLC, tradicional show donde el protagonismo pasa de las personas a los objetos inanimados. Las escaleras, las sillas y las mesas deberían formar la espina dorsal del programa pero no. Una vez más nos encontramos con que la «temática» vuelve a desaparecer (casi lo hace del poster del show) y en principio WWE solo nos ofrece un combate de los estipulados hasta ahora donde veremos un poco de todo esto. El resto no dejan de ser combates buenos pero en los que en principio, los «muebles» no han llamado para quedarse.

Por otro lado, el cartel entero queda desdibujado bajo la omnipresencia de Cena y Orton y la disputa por si veremos a Triple H coronando a un campeón de campeones, un campeón unificado, un campeón indiscutido,  o a los mismos campeones con cinturones diferentes. Sea lo que sea, lo que es seguro que el ME del Show ha marcado el camino del PPV las últimas semanas, y seguramente lo seguirá haciendo en las próximas, incluso hasta Royal Rumble.

Todo esto, y después del final de RAW de esta semana, más la posibilidad real de una nueva aparición de Vince en favor de uno u otro (o de ninguno) hace que que este TLC esté totalmente centrado en esta storyline y el resto no parezcan más que rellenos interesantes hasta que llegue el último segmento. Ni siquiera el gran push del público que recibieron Bryan especialmente, y Punk en los Slammy Awards, parece inclinar la balanza hacia ellos, quedando, de nuevo, relegados a un segundo plano.

Pero a pesar de todo, tradicionalmente TLC se ha caracterizado por ofrecer una gran calidad en los combates, independientemente quienes los protagonizaran. ¿Volveremos a catalogar TLC como uno de los mejores del año en cuanto a nivel sobre el ring o, como viene siendo habitual en los últimos shows, este TLC pasará a la historia sin pena y sin gloria?

Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango (Kickoff Match)

Bueno, como es habitual un combate corto y rápido al que no dejaran minutos entre promos, cometarios y promos. Al menos esta vez ponen al bueno de Fandango, imagino que con la intención de calentar al público antes del show con bailes y demás. Durará más su bajada por la rampa hasta el ring que el combate en sí. Por lo menos el público femenino estará de enhorabuena porque podrán ver a dos de los luchadores mas atractivos y con mejor físico del roster. Ganará Ziggler al que creo que ya han perdonado de antiguas meteduras de pata y al que de nuevo lo pondrán en la órbita de algún título.

Después de unos grandes combates y de la oportunidad perdida en el canjeo del maletín, Sandow de repente desapareció y ahora ha vuelto a resurgir de lleno en la órbita del IC. Demasiado pronto y sin demasiada historia. A pesar de ser un muy buen luchador, me da la impresión que ha llegado para sustituir a Axel en este feudo ya que Curtis no tenía sintonía en este título. Big E. lleva demasiado poco tiempo con el título como para perderlo tan pronto después de este  push que le han dado. Es una pena pero Sandow no ganará, al menos esta vez. Buen combate en donde veremos sobretodo fuerza y destreza.

Seguimos con el feudo Divas WWE contra Total Divas, ahora al menos con dos de las mejores luchadoras del roster actual. AJ Lee no llega en su mejor momento ya que las ultimas apariciones se las ha solventado Tamina Snuka y por otro lado, Natalya llega en muy buen estado de forma y de victorias. Aún así, creo que todo esto es irrelevante ya que pienso que aunque veamos un gran combate entre las dos, enfrentando la fuerza y la destreza de Natalya frente a la técnica y la agilidad de AJ Lee, la actual campeona retendrá el cinto, y lo hará al menos hasta Wrestlemania XXX.

Un gran y esperado combate del que puede salir cualquier cosa, y me temo que nada bueno para Punk si no sale nadie en su ayuda. The Shield no son Paul Heyman, y además vienen muy crecidos desde los Slammy así que en principio, y aunque Punk hará todo lo posible por  defenderse, lo tiene muy complicado para llevarse la victoria frente a tres luchadores a cada cual en mejor momento que el anterior. Veremos de todo en cuanto a técnica, velocidad, fuerza, psicología, pero me temo que no lo veremos durante mucho tiempo (también por el estado de salud de CM Punk). Algo pasará fijo, y seguramente sea algo relacionado con otro luchador haciendo equipo con Punk y con la posibilidad de introducir escaleras, sillas o mesas. Será, junto al de Bryan, de lo mejor de la noche.

En este combate me temo que habrá algo más en juego que en el de Punk por la storyline que llevan detrás durante las últimas semanas y además me espero que de alguna manera Kane vuelva a aparecer para involucrarse en el feudo. Como en el anterior, en principio la desventaja parece insalvable como para que Bryan gane el combate, pero a diferencia del de Punk, creo que de alguna manera, este combate puede salir bien para Bryan. Lo que está claro es que uno de los dos (o Punk o Bryan) van a ganar su combate de TLC. ¿por quién apuestas tú?

Fatal 4 Way entre Cody Rhodes y Goldust (c) vs Curtis Axel y Ryback vs Antonio Cesaro y Jack Swagger vs Big Show y Rey Misterio por el Tag Team Championship

Combate salido de las grabaciones de SD del martes y que no se hará oficial  hasta el viernes que se emita el programa. combate muy interesante con, al menos 6 grandes luchadores sobre el ring que pueden dar un gran espectáculo. no será tan visual y enérgico como las anteriores defensas del título con los USOS o Rollins y Reigns, pero aun así, será un combate largo y donde veremos de todo según sean los protagonistas del ring. la pareja a priori más forzada es la de Big Show y Misterio pero de alguna manera había que colocarlos en el show, especialmente a Misterio después de su regreso. Rybaxel llevan muy poco tiempo juntos como para tener oportunidad alguna, además es un equipo destinado a romperse mas pronto que tarde porque no hay química entre ellos (solo ser ex Heyman guys). El peso será para los hermanos Rhodes y los Real Americans. Al contrario que lo que piensa el compañero Braulio, no creo que estos últimos se hagan con los cintos esa noche ya que los Rhodes tienen muchísima química y especialmente con el público. No creo que sea el momento de separarlos, más bien hacia Royal Rumble. Por otro lado, y  como siempre, será Cesaro quien ponga la «delicatessen» de ese equipo, y quien de toda la batalla.

Dos cinturones sobre el ring, ¿un solo campeón?. Yo todavía no me lo creo y voy a apostar porque no sale un solo campeón de este TLC, al contrario, y como se ha oído en algunas especulaciones, hacia el final del combate empezará a entrar gente al ring… Triple H, Step, Kane, ¿Vince? que harán que de alguna manera salgan igual de campeones ambos pero con los cintos cambiados. No creo que a WWE en la actualidad le interese unificar títulos más allá de hacer una storyline interesante y entretenida. Serían menos posibilidades de minutos ME en TV, por lo tanto menos dinero, menos atractivo… Eso no es bueno para los negocios. El combate en sí será duro, muy duro… utilizarán tantas sillas, mesas y escaleras como sea posible para compensar todas las que no se han utilizado en los combates previos. y se zurrarán de lo lindo y por todos los lados. No espero mucho del combate, porque las carencia de ambos se solapan con un ring lleno de objetos. Además, de todo este segmento, lo de menos importancia será el combate… lo importante vendrá en los últimos 15 o 20 minutos que es cuando se liará de verdad sobre el ring con toda «La Autoridad» intentando poner orden en lo que espero sea un «caótico»  pero entretenido final.

O incluso que se dé en el show sin que se anuncie antes.
