Jay Briscoe, el luchador de Maryland y componente del tag team The Briscoe Brothers podríamos decir que ha formado parte de una de las tres mejores parejas del año 2012 junto a The Young Bucks & Super Smash Brothers. Además The Briscoe han acabado el año siendo coronados nuevamente como campeones de parejas de ROH tras ganar los títulos en Final Battle 2012.  Te Briscoe Brothers empezaron el año como campeones de parejas y retuvieron el título por mas de 5 meses derrotando a parejas como Team Ambition (Davey Richards & Kyle O´Reilly), TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) o Hallowicked & Jigsaw, para perder los títulos ante WGTT. Tras la derrota The Briscoe participarían en le torneo para encontrar nuevos campeones de ROH, derrtoando en primera ronda a Guradians of Truth para acabar siendo eliminados en semifinales por la pareja formada por Charlie Haas & Rhett Titus. Tras esta derrota The Briscoe ganaron a Adam Cole & Eddie Edwards para tener una oportunidad nuevamente por los títulos, pero posteriormente perderían ante SCUM en el show «Glory By Honor XI». Finalmente tendrían una nueva oportunidad en una triple amenaza en «Final Battle 2012» donde si pudieron hacerse con los campeonatos. Además de las luchas por parejas, podemos destacar dos combates individuales que ha tenido, el primero ante Derek Frazier en un show de la empresa RCW y el segundo en un show de televisión de ROH ante Steve Corino.

The Briscoe have also finished the year as being crowned champions again ROH pairs after winning titles at Final Battle 2012. You Briscoe Brothers began the year as champions of couples and held the title for more than five months as couples defeating Team Ambition (Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly), TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) or Hallowicked & Jigsaw, to lose WGTT titles before. After the defeat the Briscoe will participate in tournament to find new ROH champion, in the first round derrtoando Guradians of Truth to end up being eliminated in the semifinals by the pairing of Charlie Haas & Rhett Titus. After this defeat the Briscoe beat Adam Cole & Eddie Edwards to have a chance again for the title, but then lost to SCUM in the show «Glory By Honor XI». Finally have a new opportunity in a triple threat in «Final Battle 2012» where if it could be done with the championships.
