Steve Corino, el veterano luchador de la escena independiente ha vuelto al mas alto nivel en este 2012 gracias de la mano de SCUM y de Ring of Honor gracias a conseguir los títulos por parejas en el torneo para coronar unos nuevos campeones tras la salida de Kenny King de la empresa. Para ganar los títulos junto a Jimmy Jacobs se deshicieron de The Bravado Brothers en primera ronda, de Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander en semifinales, y en la final ganaron a la pareja formado por Rhett Titus & BJ Whitmer. Después de ganar los títulos los han defendido con acierto ante rivales como Cedric Alexander & Caprice Coleman, BJ Whitmer & Rhett Titus, WGTT & The Briscoes. Hasta el último show del año «Final Battle 2012» donde cayeron derrotaron por los Briscoe en un combate triple amenaza. Además durante este año Steve Corino llegó a la final del torneo King of Castle 2012 en la empresa RDW de Inglaterra donde ganó en cuartos de final a el Ligero, en semifinales a Zebra Kid, y en la final perdió ante Stixx. También participó en la segunda edición de la Heartland Cup donde llegó a semifinales donde perdió ante Gerome Philliphs, tras vencer en primera ronda a Ron Mathis y ganar en cuartos a DJ Hyde. Por último decir que Steve Corino también ha formado parte de Juggalo Championship Wrestling en su tour hacia Bloodymania 6, donde derrotó a Shockwave the Robot & Zach Gowen.
