En PWG, los Super Smash Brothers, Player 1 & Player 2 se proclamaron campeones de parejas en mayo tras derrotar a The Young Bucks, anteriormente se habían proclamado campeones del torneo DDT4 de este año al vencer en cuartos de final a los propios Young Bucks, en semifinales a Future Shock (Adam Cole & Kile O´Reilly) y en la final a El Generico & Willie Mack. Tras la consecución de los títulos defendieron estos en una triple amenaza en escaleras ante The Young Bucks & Future Shock, saliendo victoriosos. The Super Smash Brothers han luchado también en Evolve, en los volúmenes 10, 11 y 17 con un balance de 2 victorias a 1 derrota. En Dragon Gate USA, han participado en varios shows con resultados favorables, cosechando 4 victorias ante The Scene, DUF, Rich Swann & Ricochet y Jigsaw & Fire Ant y solo una derrota ante Genki Horiguchi & Ryo Saito. En individual destaca su combate contra El Generico en la empresa NSPW y su reinado como campeón bajo el nombre de Stu Grayson en C4 que duró 729 días y que perdió en junio de este año.
