Ultramantis Black uno de los luchadores mas veteranos de la escuela de Chikara, quiza ha tenido en este año 2012 su año mas destacado, el luchador ha disfrutado de un magnifico periodo que lo completó de manera brillante consiguiendo el título del King of Trios de este 2012 junto a Frightmare & Hallowicked. Para esto el equipo debió derrotar en primera ronda a Kazuaki Mihara, The Mysterious And Handsome Stranger & Tito Santana, en cuartos de final a The Batiri (Kobald, Kodama & Obariyon), en semifinales al Team FIST (Chuck Taylor, Icarus & Johnny Gargano) y ya en la gran final al Team ROH (Mike Bennett & The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)). Además Ultramantis Black tuvo la oportunidad aunque cayeron derrotados por 2 a 1 de convertirse en campeón de parejas junto a Hallowicked, ante Fist en febrero de este año, cosa que se repetiría en noviembre pero volverían a caer derrotados esta vez ante The Young Bucks. A pesar de que casi siempre ha luchado en pareja junto a Hallowicked, Ultramantis Black también ha tenido algunas luchas en individual enfrentándose a luchadores como Ohidian o Stigma este último en un show de WIF¡ donde también es habitual la presencia de Ultramantis.
