The Sheik, ha tenido un año movido ya que ha luchado en todas las zonas de Estados Unidos, Este, sureste, Oeste, centro y no solo eso sino que aun ha tenido tiempo de luchar como parte del tour de Zero 1 en Australia y en Japón. The Sheik ha tenido como base en este año sus luchas como campeón del título de la NWA que le llevaron a defenderlo ante Larry Zbisko en Florida, o Harker Dirge en Illinois. The Sheik también ha basado sus luchas en empresas como Resitance Pro donde llegó a disputar el combate triple amenaza por el título vacante pero que cayó de la mano de Harry Smith, y posteriormente empezó una cruzada anti americana junto a Steve Walters que se unió a su bando tras perder un combate contra él y a Jocephus Brody, junto a este último debía disputar un combate por el título de parejas de Resistance Pro pero The Sheik se lesionó y tuvo que ser sustituido por Walters. The Sheik también ha luchado en PWS donde se ha enfrentado en combates hardcore, los cuales son su especialidad a luchadores como Masada o Tommy Dreamer. The sheik también ha tenido combates este año 2012 ante luchadores ex-wwe como Val Venis en Arizona o Gangrel en la empresa Vendetta Pro de California, en ambos casos acabó siendo derrotado.

The Sheik, has had a restless year because he has already fought in all the areas of the United States, South East, West, Central and not only that but he still had time to fight as part of Zero 1 tour in Australia and Japan. The Sheik has also wrestled for Resitance Pro where he participated in the triple threat match for the vacant title but fell down in the hands of Harry Smith, and later began an anti american crusade alongside Steve Walters who joined him after losing a fight with him and Jocephus Brody, alongside the latter should wrestle a tag team title match of Resistance Pro but The Sheik got injured and had to be replaced by Walters. The Sheik has also struggled in PWS where has faced in hardcore matches, which are his specialty, to wrestlers like Tommy Dreamer or Masada. The sheik also had bouts 2012 with ex-WWE wrestlers like Val Venis in Arizona or Gangrel in the company Vendetta Pro of California, in both cases ended up being defeated.
