Matt Hardy, el luchador sobradamente conocido por su paso en WWE parece que por fin se ha tomado en serio sus apariciones en la lucha independiente y ha conseguido hacerse con un respeto en este año 2012. El luchador de North Carolina ha sido un habitual de los shows de Pro Wrestling Syndicate este año donde finalmente logró conseguir el título de los pesos pesados el pasado mes de noviembre derrotando a Kevin Matthews después de luchar enmascarado como The Rahway Reaper y desenmascararse una vez proclamado campeón. Además en dicha empresa Hardy ha luchado en combates ante Jay Lethal a quien ganó y perdió ante Tony Nese. Matt Hardy también se ha convertido en un habitual de Extreme Rising donde derrotó a Jerry Lynn en junio y perdería en una triple amenaza ante el propio Lynn & Homicide el día 30 del mismo mes, y en noviembre donde sería parte del main event enfrentándose a Shane Douglas pero cuyo combate acabaría en No contest debido a una conmoción de Hardy al caer mal. Hardy también ha luchado en NEW donde se enfrentó a Matt Taven & Sami Callihan y debutó en ROH el pasado 16 de diciembre en Final Battle 2012 enfrentándose en un combate por el título de televisión a Adam Cole.

Matt Hardy, the wrestler well known for his stint in WWE looks to have taken seriously his appearances on the independent wrestling and has managed to gain respect in 2012. The wrestler from North Carolina has been a regular at the Pro Wrestling Syndicate shows this year where he finally managed to get the heavyweight title last November defeating Kevin Matthews after fighting masked as The Rahway Reaper and once proclaimed champion he unmasked. Also in that company Hardy has fought matches with Jay Lethal who won and lost against Tony Nese. Matt Hardy has also become a regular at Extreme Rising where he defeated Jerry Lynn in June and lost in a triple threat match against Lynn & Homicide the 30th of the same month, and in November he would be part of the main event facing Shane Douglas but the fight would end in a no contest due to a concussion after a Hardy’s bad landing. Hardy has also wrestled in NEW where he faced Matt Taven & Sami Callihan and debuted in ROH last December 16 at Final Battle 2012 facing Adam Cole in a TV title match.
