Ray Rosas, el luchador californiano ha tenido un año movido dentro de la escena independiente del Oeste de Estados Unidos debido a que ha competido tanto en lucha individual como por parejas. Por parejas ha destacado formando equipo con Peter Avalon con quien ha disputado combates por el number one contender aunque no consiguieron ganar en un gauntlet match y posteriormente volvieron a tener otra oportunidad esta vez en un combate normal ante The Happening (Joey Ryan & Johnny Goodtime) pero volvieron a caer derrotados. En la lucha individual, Ray Rosas, llegó a cuartos de final de la copa Percy Pringle III, donde cayó derrotado ante Peter Avalon, tras vencer en primera ronda a Johnny Yuma. En CWFH también tuvo grandes combates ante Willie Mack, disputó un combate por el number one contender de TV pero cayó derrotado en un fatal four way ante Scorpio Sky, también lucharon Johnny Yuma y Peter Avalon. Por último para acabar la rivalidad con Johnny Yuma lo derrotó en un combate al mejor de 3 caídas en la propia empresa. Además Ray Rosas ha hecho combates en empresas con AWS, PRW o Vendetta Pro. También fue campeón por parejas de la empresa NWPW de San Diego junto a Lucha Machine hasta marzo de 2012 cuando perdieron los títulos ante The RockNES Monsters.

Ray Rosas, the California wrestler has had a restless year in the independent scene of the western United States because he has competed both individually and in pairs. In tag team he teamed with Peter Avalon who has wrestled for number one contender but failed to win in a gauntlet match and then returned to have another chance this time in a normal match against The Happening (Joey Ryan & Johnny Goodtime) but fell again defeated.
