El Hijo del Bamboo vuelve a aparecer este año en el top 100 debido a su buen hacer en la empresa ISW (InterSpecies Wrestling), si el año pasado se ganó el mértio por ser el campeón del primer Burguer King of the Ring, este año está aqui tras conseguir retener el cinturón de campeón del Other Title por casi un año ya que le han faltado tres días para conseguirlo. El Hijo del Bamboo conquisto el trofeo el 20 de noviembre de 2011 y lo ha tenido en su poder hasta el 17 de noivmebre de 2012 tras caer derrotado ante Frankie Arion en el show de la empresa Amageddocalypse. Además entre sus defensas este año hay que tener en cuenta la rivalidad que ha tenido con Sexxxy Eddie, luchador canadiense con quien se ha enfrentado un par de veces con el título en juego, y en ambas ha salido victorioso el Hijo del Bamboo, la primera en Ganimania, y la otra en el show Grand Theft Ottawa. Además El Hijo del Bamboo ha conseguido retener el título en el show Boner Jam II tras vencer a Homicide por descalificación. También consiguió retener el cinturón por última vez, antes de perderlo en noviembre, ante The Giant Tiger en el show de agosto «Fighting Back 2»
