Mat Fitchett el luchador de Texas ha ido una de las sorpresas mas agradables de este 2012, lástima que una lesión le haya apartado de los cuadriláteros ya que de acabar el año con la progresión que llevaba hubiera obtenido un puesto mas alto. Mat Fitchett empezó el año teniendo una oportunidad por el título de televisión en ACW pero cayó derrotado en un four way elimination match ante Davey Vega, el ganador, Jerry Lynn & Scott Summers. En su empresa base también tendría una oportunidad por el título de los pesos pesados pero caería derrotado ante ACH. Mat Fitchett debutó este año en AAW donde se enfrentó a BJ Whitmer en su primer combate cayendo derrotado pero dejando buena impresión y en su segundo show formó pareja con el propio Whitmer para intentar conquistar los títulos de parejas aunque no tuvieron exito ante Jimmy Jacobs & Arik Cannon. En el último show que disputó en la empresa AAW ya hizo pareja con Davey Vega conocidos como los Sex Bob-ombs para derrotar a Awesome Threesome. En AIW junto a Davey Vega perdieron un combate por el number 1 contender ante Irish Airbone y vencieron a The Submission Squad & The Batiri en otros eventos. Mat también participó en el torneo JT Lightning de AIW pero cayó derrotado en primera ronda a manos de Louis Lyndon.

Mat Fitchett wrestler from Texas has been one of the most pleasant surprises of this 2012, shame that injury has separated him from the ring. If it wasn’t for that he could reach a higher spot in the list. Mat Fitchett began the year having a title shot fot the ACW television championship but was defeated in a Four Way Elimination Match against Davey Vega, the winner, Jerry Lynn & Scott Summers. At its base company would also have a shot at the heavyweight title but fall defeated by ACH. Mat Fitchett debuted this year at AAW where he faced BJ Whitmer in his first match, being defeated but leaving a good impression and in his second show teamed with Whitmer himself to try to win the tag team titles but they had no success against Jimmy Jacobs & Arik Cannon. In the last show he wrestled for the company AAW teamed with Davey Vega calling themselfs Sex Bob-ombs to defeat Awesome Threesome. In AIW alongside Davey Vega lost a match for the number 1 contender against Irish Airborne and won The Submission Squad & The Batiri in other events. Mat also participated in AIW’s JT Lightning tournament but was defeated in the first round at the hands of Louis Lyndon.
