Kevin Matthews, el luchador de Brooklyn, New York debuta en este top 100 este año 2012 después de llevar a cabo un magnifico año dentro de su empresa natal Pro Wrestling Syndicate donde se proclamó campeón de los pesos pesados y donde tuvo ese título hasta noviembre de este año cuando cayó derrotado ante Matt Hardy en un combate donde Hardy apareció enmascarado bajo el sobrenombre de The Rahway Reaper. Tras este combate Kevin Matthews solicitó la revancha en el show del 7 de diciembre en un casket match pero volvió a ser derrotado por Matt Hardy. Anteriormente durante el año, Kevin Matthews empezó sus apariciones en PWS derrotando a Eddie Kingston en el evento SuperCard2012, en el siguiente show formaría equipo con su compañero de Reality Check, Devon Moore para derrotar a The Young Bucks y esta misma pareja se repetiría en la primera noche del quinto aniversario para derrotar a Dan Maff & Tommy Dreamer. En la segunda noche del quinto aniversario vendría la victoria por el título de los pesos pesados de PWS al derrotar a Sami Callihan con algo de ayuda de sus compañeros de Reality Check. Tras este show vendría el Saved By the Bell show en el que retendría el título de nuevo ante Sami Callihan y en octubre ganaría a Star Mar y Larry The Marvelous One para retener el cinturón que perdería en noviembre.

Kevin Matthews, the wrestler from Brooklyn, New York debuts in the top 100 this 2012 after conducting a wonderful year in his natal company Pro Wrestling Syndicate where he won the Heavyweight Championship and had it until November when he was defeated by Matt Hardy in a match where Hardy appeared masked under the moniker of The Rahway Reaper. After this fight Kevin Matthews requested a rematch on December 7 show in a casket match but was defeated again by Matt Hardy. Earlier in the year, Kevin Matthews began his appearances in PWS defeating Eddie Kingston at SuperCard 2012 event, in the following show wrestled alongside with his Reality Check fellow, Devon Moore to defeat The Young Bucks and this same tam team would be repeated in the first night of the fifth anniversary to defeat Dan Maff & Tommy Dreamer. On the second night of the fifth anniversary would come the winning of the PWS Heavyweight championship defeating Sami Callihan with some help from his Reality Check fellows. After this show came Saved By the Bell show in which would retain the title again against Sami Callihan and in October won a Star Ocean and Larry The Marvelous One to hold the belt that finally lost in November.
