Papadon, el luchador de Brooklyn, es el primero de nuestro cinco luchadores que forman este bonus del top 100.  Papadon ha conseguido en este año destacar de tal forma en la escena independiente del noreste de Estados Unidos que le ha permitido debutar en shows de Evolve y aparecer en Dragon Gate USA. En Evolve apareció en los volúmenes 17 y 18, en el primero como aliado de Larry Dallas para vencer a Marti Belle, y en el segundo cayendo derrotado ante Masada. En Dragon Gate ganó un combate por parejas junto a Tony Nese ante The Scene en el show «Freedom Fight 2012». En la escena independiente Papadon ha destacado este año por ganar el torneo Super 8 de ECWA, tras vencer a Tony Nese en primera ronda, a Bobby Fish en semifinales y a Bandido Jr en la gran final, por si fuera poco Papadon ha sido durante 559 días consecutivos campeón del ECWA Unified Heavyweight Championship desde marzo de 2011 hasta septiembre de 2012, entre sus rivales en este 2012 destacan Alex Reynold, John Silver, Adam Cole o Tony Nese. Además este año Papadon participó en la Jeff Peterson memorial cup cayendo en cuartos de final ante Lince Dorado tras vencer a Charles Caldwell en primera ronda, y también fue uno de los participantes en el torneo para encontrar al primer campeón de Extreme Rising pero perdió en primera ronda ante Stevie Richards.
