No estamos rogando o buscando simpatía.

Hey,

This isn’t going to be a well written letter. This isn’t going to be something I’m even proud to share. Personally, I’ve never held back how I’ve felt or what I’m thinking, ever. So why start now?

July 28th & 29th A1 wrestling presented what was looking to be like their most successful & talked about event(s) in it’s 3 year history. Not only to the fans, but the wrestlers felt the buzz & hype as well. When it was all said & done, we put out 2 of the BEST live wrestling cards Canada has ever seen. Ever… we truly mean, EVER! We are so proud of that accomplishment in itself. Yet, at the end of the 2nd event our stationary camera, brand new microphone, power cord, tripod & my personal set of $250 headphones were stolen. Everyone seems to have a positive outlook on this, for some odd reason, assuming these items will just show up one day & all will be well. Now, sure, I could sit & hold my hands together & pray this does in fact happen, But I’ve just come to terms with it & decided that «sh*t happens» & it’s time to just move forward. We, thankfully captured Night 1’s stationary footage the morning of Night 2… so YES, there will be at least 1 DVD with 2 camera angles & Night 2 did have a floor camera, so we will more then likely make a DVD as well.

Now on  a more personal level. Alpha-1 Wrestling has been my love, my relationship & my passion for these 3 years. From day 1 I’ve put everything I have & own into this company. I’ve spent 5 out of 7 nights a week for the past 3 years sleepless, editing, booking & planning the events to make sure they were up to our fans standards. Yes, we truly do have the BEST fans in pro wrestling. Nobody can take that away from us. This weekend alone though, I’ll gladly admit I bit off more then I could chew & personally have put myself in an uncomfortable financial position. In other words, I’m broke. Some may assume I personally pocketed any & all profits from Alpha-1, not the case. Any money that was above the break event point all went into building A1 & giving it some new toys & better equipment. ie: new banners, new camera, new belts & so on. Now, add on the absence of a brand new $1,100 camera, $250 headphones & other important props & equipment, plus the dent in my personal finances & here we are, Monday July 30th, 2012. The day I become the most hated man that ever lived,  the day I announce the hiatus of Alpha-1 Wrestling, but also the day that my heart gets broken & I endure the biggest break up in my entire life. The end of the most important & influential relationship in my 6 year existence in wrestling.

On October 21st, 2012 we will host the last A1 event in the Germania Club. We don’t expect many people will appreciate or love this, but it’s something that personally has to be done. I’ve been selfless & giving for 3 years now & it’s caught up in a bad way. This isn’t the first loss of money or hit I’ve taken as a promoter, so don’t assume I’m taking my ball & going home. This has been a slow build up & this weekend was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Fans, we’re sorry to leave a void in your life. If you could only imagine the void that will be in mine. October 21st won’t just be a day for myself, but a day for the wrestlers, the crew & the fans to give something that we ALL collectively created a decent & respectable send off. The show will be exactly what it needs to be, only filled with the heart & soul of A1. No outside guest or special announcements. No videos, no commercials & now fake hype. We’re just going to announce the card & do everything in our power to pack the house. See you all Oct 21st, if not, we appreciate any & all fans who have ever came to one of our events, bought one of our DVDs or supported A1 in any way shape or form. We love you all & appreciate your passionate support!
